A Quinte West woman has been charged after OPP were called to a dispute between neighbours last weekend.
Officers were first called to the home on Schriver Road, around 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 24 and laid a trespassing charge, but were called back again a couple of hours later after complaints of an assault.
Police say the suspect tried to get away as they tried to make an arrested, allegedly assaulting and threatening officers.
Thirty-eight-year-old Adrienne Ray-Pinkerton is charged with assault, two counts of assaulting a peace officer and one count each of resisting a peace officer, uttering threats and trespassing.
She was released with a court date in May.
