A full road closure of 2nd Dug Hill Road from Highway 2 to Hillside Meadows Drive is scheduled to begin on May 4.
In a release, the City of Quinte West says all residential traffic from Hillside Meadows subdivision will be detoured south on 2nd Dug Hill Road to Loyalist Parkway for the duration of the closure.
Temporary signal lights have been installed to manage traffic flow and will remain in effect throughout the summer.
Access will remain open to emergency vehicles until further notice.
All other residential traffic accessing Hillside Meadows subdivision will be detoured to Loyalist Parkway.
The closure will allow work to begin on the new multi-use pathway, sidewalk and road reconstruction.
