The nomination period for mayoral, council and school trustee candidates for this fall’s Ontario municipal elections began on Friday.
The City of Quinte West released its first list of registered candidates.
Don Kuntze has officially registered to run for reelection in Ward 2 Sidney, while Alan Dewitt also officially registered to run in the same ward.
Meanwhile in Ward 3 Murray, Ed Santos officially registered to run for councillor.
Residents can check on the list of registered candidates, including their social media and contact links, at the Quinte West Votes website.
