Residents of Northumberland County have a new opportunity to hear directly from their new Medical Officer of Health.
Dr. Natalie Bocking, Medical Officer of Health for Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge Health Unit is hosting two virtual “Talk with the Doc” information sessions to allow residents to learn more about COVID-19, the local situation, and the vaccine rollout.
The sessions will run 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, and Tuesday, May 18, on the health unit’s YouTube channel.
Participants can pre-submit a question or topic for Dr. Bocking to address.
In a news release, Dr. Bocking says, “Staying informed goes hand in hand with staying safe during the pandemic.”
