A small controlled burn that got out of control caused a fairly large grass/brush fire in Belleville’s Thurlow ward Tuesday afternoon.
Firefighters from Stations 3 and 4 were called out to a property east of Highway 62 north of Foxboro around 2 o’clock and found about an acre of scrub woodland burning.
The fire was doused and there were no injuries or damage to structures.
