On April 24, 2021 at approximately 4:00 p.m., members of the Central Hastings OPP were conducting regular patrol when they observed a male known to be a prohibited driver operating a motor vehicle on Forsyth St.
The male driver, Jason COLLINS, 39 years old, of Marmora and Lake was subsequently arrested and charged contrary to the Criminal Code with:
- Driving while Prohibited
- Dangerous Operation
- Flight from Peace Officer
- Fail to Comply
The accused was held for bail and remanded into custody.
He is scheduled to appear by video at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on April 26, 2021.
