Prince Edward County council is set to hear a presentation on the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on the county.
At Tuesday’s council meeting, a representative of The County Foundation will present the findings of a study that focuses on the effects of the pandemic from March 2020 to March 2021 in the county.
The study highlights the economic and social impacts including how technology has helped people adapt, the impact on housing, homelessness and jobs as well as the effect on school-age children.
The findings are designed to help council make decisions on social matters coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic.
