Two members of Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps Quinte have received awards from the Navy League of Canada.
Chief Petty Officer Second Class Jaden Hearns received the 2022 Navy League Medal of Excellence.
The medal is awarded annually to the most proficient Sea Cadets within the Ontario Division.
CPOC2 Hearns was presented the the Rear Admiral Jennifer Bennett Award for outstanding leadership.

Meanwhile Second Lieutenant Sheldon Colwill was given the Ontario Division’s Meritorious Service Award.
SLt Colwill has been a member of the Belleville Sea Cadet Corps since 2013 and has gone above and beyond the
call of duty to help run the unit at a high standard.
He is credited with being instrumental in providing virtual training to cadets during the COVID-19 lockdowns.
