The Belleville Police Service responded to 74 calls for service between April 28, 2021 at 5:00 a.m. and April29, 2021 at 5:00 a.m.
IMPAIRED OPERATION:
On April 28, 2021 at approximately 8:08 p.m., police responded to a call in the southwest end of the city regarding a suspicious vehicle. Officers attended the scene and found the suspect vehicle still in the area. Upon speaking with the driver, officers arrested and charged a 59-year-old male from Corbyville for operation while impaired. Christopher Graham was released on an undertaking with first appearance date of May 26, 2021.
LIQUOR LICENCE ACT:
On April 28, 2021 at approximately 5:24 p.m., police responded to a call in the southeast end of the city regarding the concern for a person’s well-being near the water. Officers located a 36-year-old Belleville man and due to a concern for his own immediate safety and the safety of others, he was arrested for being intoxicated in public place. The man was later released on a Part 1 offence notice once he was deemed to no longer pose a threat to himself or others.
