Prince Edward County is larger than many would think and public transportation for people who don’t drive their own vehicles has become a hot topic of discussion in the county.
Now, the municipality and The County Foundation are holding two public open houses to discuss public transportation. Both are being held tomorrow (Thursday).
The open houses will feature presentations on a proposed transportation plan and question and answer sessions.
The first open house is from 2 to 4 at the Wellington and District Community Centre and the second is from 5 to 7 at the Prince Edward Community Centre in Picton.
Free rides are offered to the open houses by calling Quinte Access at 613-392-9640 or Deseronto Transit at 613-396-4008.
