Information on plans for better healthcare in the Quinte West/Brighton region will be presented to Quinte West council Monday evening.
Paula Mason, newly hired Physician Recruitment and Retention Coordinator will be formally introduced to council and provide an update on plans to bring more doctors to the community.
Also, Mike Cowan and Sharon Urquhart of OurTMH will describe ongoing efforts to bring a kidney dialysis/treatment clinic to Trenton Memorial Hospital or the nearby “health hub” now in the design stage.
Quinte West council meets at 6:30 at city hall.
