Police have an update in the search for 28-year-old Trenton resident Kayla Boisvert, after she disappeared from British Columbia’s Shambhala Music Festival early Monday morning. ORIGINAL STORY HERE
Investigators say a tip led to a confirmed sighting of the missing paramedic south of Salmo around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The RCMP have released images from the sighting to provide an updated description of what Boisvert was wearing in hopes of locating her (Photo above)
Prior to the update, she was last seen late Sunday night and reports indicate she had placed two calls to her twin sister, before he phone stopped responding.
She is described as black, six feet tall, with black hair and long blonde braids.
A community fundraiser collected over $20,000 to send family out west to assist in the search.
She is a paramedic with Hastings-Quinte EMS and an experienced festival goer.
