A GoFundMe page has raised over $20,000 to help family members head to British Columbia in the search for missing Kayla Boisvert.
The 28-year-old Hastings-Quinte paramedic from Trenton was last seen on Monday around 2:15 a.m. at the Shambhala Music Festival in Salmo, BC.
In an update on the GoFundMe page, organizer Eva Boisvert says the family would be no longer accepting donations after reaching more than double its initial goal of $10,000.
She says that whatever money is left will be donated to Salmo Search and Rescue for their efforts in the search.
RCMP in Salmo say Boisvert was last seen wearing a blue head scarf, oversized graphic T-shirt, and multicolored scarves, according to RCMP.
She is six feet tall with black hair and long blonde braids, with brown eyes.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Kayla Boisvert is urged to contact Salmo RCMP at 250-357-2212.
