Motor Vehicle Collisions
On July 12, 2020 at 8:35 p.m., police responded to the area of Sidney Street regarding a two-vehicle collision. There were no injuries reported although one of the vehicles sustained significant damage. The at fault driver was charged with Drive Unsafe Vehicle and was issued a Provincial Offences Notice.
On July 12, 2020 at 9:30 p.m., police responded to the area of North Front Street regarding a disturbance. Police attended the area and located a female acting out. An investigation ensued revealing that the 35-year-old female was causing a disturbance and was found to be intoxicated in a public place. As a result, the female not from the Belleville area, was arrested and charged with being intoxicated in a public place. She was issued a Provincial Offences Notice and transported to the Belleville Police Service where she was held until sober.
