8 Wing Trenton had a special international visitor today.
A Brazilian Air Force C-295 and its crew landed in Trenton as part of a three-day Canadian Tour, which also involved stops at 19 Wing Comox, BC and 17 Wing Winnipeg, Manitoba.
The FAB is showcasing the aircraft, which has a similar set-up to the C-295W, which will replace the RCAF’s six CC-115 Buffalos and legacy CC-130H Hercules.
Brazilian pilots and crew were also using the visit as part of a training exercise on their new aircraft.
