One person is dead in Belleville after a fatal car accident on Tuesday morning.
At close to 10:14 am, Belleville police, fire, and Hastings Quinte EMS, responded to the intersection of Herchimer Avenue and Bridge Street East after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.
A 26 year old Belleville man was taken to Belleville General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead by hospital staff.
The road remains closed while a police investigation is ongoing.
