The Ontario Provincial Police’s Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) recovered a stolen dirt bike and laid charges following an investigation in Prince Edward County.
The CSCU began investigating a stolen dirt bike on Wednesday, September 30 after it was discovered being advertised for sale online.
The dirt bike had been reported stolen in April 2024.
A warrant was executed at a property in Prince Edward County, where investigators located and recovered the stolen dirt bike.
As a result of the investigation, 29-year-old Matthew Vaughan of Prince Edward County has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Picton on December 9, 2026.
