Depending on council’s decision on Monday (September 28), work could begin soon on the redevelopment of the old fairgrounds in Belleville’s west end.
Staff are recommending council accept the low tender from Quinte West firm Devries Site Services to build two access roads and install water/sewer infrastructure on the Bridge Street West land.
The tender totalled almost $3,694,000 plus HST.
The work would pave the way for future high-density residential development,

If council approves, the work could begin this fall and take about a year to complete.
