The Empire Theatre in Belleville is preparing to host a municipal candidates forum, giving residents a chance to meet the candidates in the upcoming election and hear their perspectives on local issues.
The event, hosted in part by the Belleville Chamber of Commerce and the Central Lakes Association of Realtors, features both mayoral and ward 1 candidates. The first half of the evening will be dedicated to the councillor candidates, with a mayoral debate in the second.
Registration is not required, but available seating is limited. The event is free to attend. Doors will open at 6pm, with the event officially beginning at 7.
A second event for Ward 2 candidates and trustees is being planned.
