Hastings County is preparing to reject a request from ALTO to sign an Non-Disclosure Agreement.
During Thursday’s Finance, Property, and Personnel Committee meeting, a motion was put before members of Hastings County Council to provide guidance to municpal staff over how to respond to a request from ALTO to sign an NDA.
In their request, ALTO claimed that if Hastings County agreed to the NDA, they would receive more information about planned routes before the details are made public. Specifically the request claimed that ALTO would engage the county in discussions involving early concepts, technical analysis, and emerging ideas that are still being refined.
After some brief discussion, the committee voted to direct staff not to sign the NDA. That motion will go before Hastings County Council for final approval at a future meeting.
