An Oshawa woman has been charged after an assault was reported in the Municipality of Trent Hills.
Northumberland OPP responded to the assault on Front Street East just after 9 p.m. on Saturday.
Police were advised that an individual had thrown household items at the complainant and uttered threats.
No serious injuries were reported.
As a result, 40-year-old Rachel West of Oshawa was arrested and charged with:
- Assault with a weapon
- Assault
- Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg in September.
