Two new candidates have filed their nomination papers to run in the 2026 municipal election.
It was announced that Leslie Roseblade and Spencer Hutchison have thrown their names into the hat to run for councillor for Ward 1, Trenton.
Candidates must file their nomination papers with the city clerk before the close of nominations on Friday, Aug. 21, at 2 p.m.
