Judith M. of Trenton won the $100,000 top prize with CROSSWORD TRIPLER from OLG.
In a press release, it says that Judith is a retired educational assistant, and that she decided to scratch her ticket while watching the Toronto Blue Jays game one weekend.
“I checked it using the OLG app on my phone. At first, I thought I’d won $10, then $100, then… OMG! I scanned my ticket three times to be sure I was reading it correctly,” she told OLG at their Prize Centre in Toronto to collect her winnings.
After realizing she’d won $100,000, Judith shared the news with her partner.
“I put the ticket away in our safe immediately and kept the news a secret for several weeks before sharing it with anyone else. I told a couple friends and my mom. When I went to validate my ticket at the store, the clerk’s eyes went so wide! I got hugs all around from the staff at the store.” she said in the release.
Judith says she looks forward to using her winnings for travelling.
She says she would like to visit the East Coast and take a dream vacation to Hawaii. A hot air balloon ride is also on her wish list.
The winning ticket was purchased at Metro on Quinte Street in Trenton.
