East Northumberland Secondary School’s team won big at the Burnbrae-Hungerford Track and Field Classic on Friday.
More than 1200 student athletes competed in the event.
East Northumberland Secondary School champions included:
Chase Eddy, 1st in junior 300 m hurdles (43.88 s)
Grayson Graham, 1st in novice 300 m hurdles (47.79 s)
Cadence Tait, 1st in senior 800 m (2:22.73)
Aidan Molenhuis, 1st in senior high jump (1.90 m)
Dominic Rittwage, 1st in junior 200 m (24.12 s)
Sullivan Tait, 1st in novice 800 m (2:11)
Next up for the Blue Dragons will be the Bay of Quinte Invitational on Friday, May 10, hosted by ENSS at Mary Ann Sills Park in Belleville. Races and field events start at 9 a.m. and spectators are welcome.
