Several Quinte West firefighters received provincial and federal service medals during a council meeting at Quinte West City Hall on Wednesday.
Federal service medals are recognized for 20 years of service while provincial medals are for 25 years of service.
The firefighters got their picture taken with their medals alongside Fire Chief John Whelan, Deputy Fire Chief Rick Caddick and Quinte West Mayor Jim Harrison.
