Napanee’s Cal Uens has been invited to the Ottawa Senators training camp.
His former QMJHL team, the Quebec Remparts, confirmed the news in a post to their social media on Wednesday.
A Quinte Red Devils graduate, Uens played in the OHL for the Owen Sound Attack and the Kingson Frontenacs before finishing up his junior hockey career with the Remparts in the 2025-26 season.
The defenceman finished his 2025-26 season with 13 goals and 36 assists in 63 games played.
Uens signed with the ECHL’s Allen Americans, an affiliate of the AHL’s Belleville Senators and NHL’s Ottawa Senators, for the 2026-27 season.
