Warrant arrest
A 42-year-old Belleville woman is being held for a bail hearing after being arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Shortly before 5:00pm, on Friday, December 15, 2023, police received a call from a nursing home in the west end of Belleville in regards to a female refusing to leave after demanding to see a relative of hers. When Police arrived, the female had already left on foot.
A short time later, she was located, arrested, and held for show cause hearing. The accused will appear in court today, December 18, 2023.
Liquor License and Control Act
On the 16th of December 2023, at approximately 4:00pm, police were called to an east end location for a report of a male being aggressive with EMS. When officers arrived on scene, the male was still displaying his aggressive behaviour.
A 50-year-old Belleville man was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place and taken to the Belleville Police Service until he was no longer a threat to public safety.
