A donation to the Salvation Army’s Christmas Kettle Campaign at Walmart stores Saturday will go twice as far.
Saturday is Walmart’s national “Fill the Kettle Day” in which the retailer will match customer’s donations up to $100,000.
Meanwhile, Belleville’s Salvation Army Kettle Campaign has raised just over $232,000 so far.
That isĀ 64% of its goal of $365,000 which will be used to help the community’s vulnerable population year-round.
