The Trenton Golden Hawks have announced the appointment of Connor Armour as the team’s new head coach and general manager.
Armour recently served as head coach of the Pickering Panthers, leading the team to an appearance in the OJHL Eastern Conference Finals.
Before that, he had been head coach of the Cobourg Cougars, which also included an appearance in the Eastern Conference Finals during that time.
In a press release, he is credited as a developer of talent, moving players on to the NHL, NCAA, and CHL levels, including NHL draft pick and Belleville native Trevor Hoskin.
“The Trenton Golden Hawks are a premier destination for players and coaches,” said Armour in the release.
“The fans here are passionate and have high standards for this team, and those standards will be met. I can’t wait to get started.”
Armour, as well as recently appointed Director of Hockey Operations Michael Camilleri, will lead the evaluation process at the upcoming Golden Hawks Prospect & Goalie Camp, taking place May 29-31, 2026.
