There were some irresponsible drivers arrested on the weekend in the City of Belleville.
Saturday evening on Bell Boulevard, officers on patrol clocked a vehicle travelling 156 km/hr in a 50km/h zone.
The driver, a 22-year-old Belleville man, was charged with stunt driving, and failing to surrender a permit and insurance card.
His licence was suspended for 30 days and his vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
Another driver was charged with stunt driving Saturday night when police observed a vehicle travelling 82km/h in a posted 40km/h zone on Yeomans Street.
The driver was stopped just north of Bridge Street West and investigation revealed the driver was under a driving suspension.
The motorist was charged with stunt driving and driving suspended.
Their vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
A second suspended driver was charged after police responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle Saturday night in the east end of the city.
Investigation revealed there was a driver present however they were under a dirving suspension.
The accused was charged with driving under suspension and had their vehicle impounded for 14 days.
All three drivers are scheduled to appear in court January 8.
