The Children’s Safety Village and the Violence Awareness and Random Acts of Kindness program are each receiving grants from the Canada Post Community Foundation.
Children’s Safety Village on South John Street in Belleville is receiving $15,000 to replace electric jeeps and chargers.
The foundation is providing $1,864.50 to help Violence Awareness and Random Acts of Kindness create a new website to facilitate random acts of kindness by youth in Belleville.
This year across Canada, the Canada Post Community Foundation is awarding $1.2 million to 84 organizations that work to improve the lives of children and youth.
