Quinte West OPP have charged a driver after he was alleged to have failed to stop for police.
An officer was patrolling Highway 401 in Quinte West on May 3 around 7 a.m.
The officer attempted to make a traffic stop but the vehicle was said to have failed to stop.
An investigation led to the driver being identified.
On September 9, an arrest was made. Nineteen-year-old Adlene Zebiche of Montreal was charged with the following:
- Flight from Police
- Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
- Operation While Prohibited
- Failure to comply with release order
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville.
