Boil water advisories are in effect for residents in Trenton on the west side of the Trent River and in Murray ward due to a water main break late yesterday.
Also under a boil water advisory are residents living in the Carrying Place area and in Consecon.
Complicating the situation for residents of northwest Trenton and in Murray ward is the fact that the water

“We’ve had it off since 5 a.m. and we have crews in the water right now trying to do a repair on that water main.”
It’s expected the water will flow again to the affected area by late this morning. The break is on a main line crossing the river.
The boil water advisory will remain in effect until the all clear is given by health unit officials.
