Quinte West OPP have made an arrest in a shoplifting investigation.
Police responded to a business on Dundas Street East in Trenton around 1 p.m on May 22 on a report of a theft.
The suspect had left the area before police arrived, triggering an investigation.
On Monday, a person was arrested.
Thirty-two-year-old David Cooley-Rushlow of Belleville was charged with the following:
- Theft Under $5000
- Fail to Comply with Undertaking
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville.
