The Quinte Exhibition will remain at its familiar location for one more year – a milestone one.
On Monday Belleville is to receive a request from the Belleville Agricultural Society to exempt it from the city noise by-law for the fair which will take place once again at the fairgrounds on Bridge Street West at the corner of Sidney Street.
The 200th edition of the Quinte Exhibition will be held from August 31 to September 3.
In its request to the city, the Agricultural Society says events will include a midway, demolition derby on the Friday night and a truck/tractor pull Saturday night.
Work continues on the Society’s new location on Highway 37 off Black Diamond Road.
