Charges have been laid against a 52-year-old man in an assault investigation.
Wednesday night Belleville police were called to the area of Bridge Street West and Stinson Avenue, where a man allegedly assaulted a woman.
He was arrested and found to be breaching a probation order.
The Belleville man was charged with assault and three counts of breach probation.
