A fourth person has been arrested in connection with a weapons investigation in Bancroft.
Quinte News reported last week that members of the OPP Community Street Crime Unit, with the assistance of the OPP Emergency Response Team, OPP Bancroft Crime Unit and the members of the Bancroft OPP Detachment executed two search warrants at two residences on the morning of April 20, seizing 10 firearms, a crossbow, and a large quantity of ammunition.
Three Bancroft residents were arrested at the time.
Police charged 63-year-old Donald Vautour with eight counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm.
Forty-year-old Lisa Duynisveld and 46-year-old Irvin Whyte were each charged with of unauthorized possession of a firearm.
Bancroft OPP say 45-year-old Glendon Thibadeau of Bancroft has also been arrested and charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm.
All four accused are scheduled to appear in court in Bancroft on May 9.
