A tractor trailer driver received the shock of his life, and some minor cuts to his face, while driving east on the 401 near Colborne late Wednesday afternoon.
According to Today’s Northumberland a big wild turkey flew into and smashed the driver’s side window on the transport.
The driver kept his cool enough to get the rig to the side of the highway. The turkey had landed in his lap and looked dead but it quickly recovered and the driver put it outside where it ran away.
