As a result of a trafficking investigation regarding Fentanyl being brought to the City of Belleville and surrounding Quinte area, members of Project Renewal, with the assistance of the Belleville Police Service ERT Unit and Belleville Police Service K-9 Unit, conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Highway 62 and Bell Boulevard just prior to 4:00 p.m. on October 28, 2021 as well as executed two subsequent residential Controlled Drugs and Substances search warrants.
As a result of the vehicle stop, two males were arrested for Trafficking a Controlled Substance.
During the search of the vehicle, investigators located a quantity of Tec3 pills, 10.2 grams of green and purple fentanyl, and five ounces of Cocaine.
Investigators conducted a search of a North Park Street residence and seized a Mossberg semi-automatic A-2 rifle.
Investigators conducted a search of a Ritchie Street residence and seized a small quantity of green Fentanyl.
As a result of the investigation, vehicle stop and CDSA search warrants the following individuals were charged.
Kyle GALLANT (24 years old) from Niagara Region was charged with:
- Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of Codeine (Tec3) for the Purpose of Trafficking

He was held in custody for a Show Cause Hearing on October 30, 2021
Denzil DOMFEH (28 years old) from Etobicoke was charged with:
- Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of Codeine (Tec3) for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking
He was held in custody for a Show Cause Hearing on October 30, 2021
Brandon McHALE (31 years old) Belleville resident was charged with:
Possession of Fentanyl
Brandon McHALE was released on a Form 10 with a court date of December 6, 2021.
