Hastings Prince Edward Public Health reported 14 new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday.
Ten of the new cases were in Quinte West and four in Belleville and 10 of the 14 new cases were in people who had not been vaccinated.
With eight people recovering from the illness the number of active cases in the two counties is up to 46.
Five people are now being treated in hospital, one is in the Intensive Care Unit.
On the vaccination front 79% of the population of Hastings-Prince Edward 12 years of age and older have been fully vaccinated.
