McDougall Insurance has acquired another insurance brokerage.
In a press release, it was announced that the Belleville-based insurance broker had bought Tailored Insurance Services, a company based in Richmond Hill.
The purchase follows McDougall’s purchase of Cornell Insurance in Markham in 2024, as the company expands into the Toronto area.
“Tailored was a rare opportunity for us to partner with a business that both shares our entrepreneurial culture and brings new expertise and options for us to provide to our clients,” said Lorne McDougall, VP of McDougall Insurance. “We are confident that our collaboration will produce meaningful gains for the clients of both organizations and we appreciate this opportunity to further build our story in the GTA.”
Tailored Insurance Services is a portfolio-driven boutique insurance brokerage with specialization in machine shops, photography and graphic design.
