Canadian Armed Forces personnel are going to be participating in training exercises around the Quinte region.
Starting on May 26th and continuing until June 26th, the training exercises are set to take place around Belleville, Campbellford, Peterborough, Bloomfield, Picton, Quinte West, Tweed, and Stirling.
Residents are advised that they may see military staff both in and out of uniform with weapons, along with military vehicles and aircraft. The sounds of simulated explosions or gunfire may also be heard at times.
Only simulated or blank ammunition will be used in the exercise.
