A local young entrepreneur will be hosting a fundraiser for the Humane Society Hastings Prince Edward in downtown Belleville this weekend.
Twelve-year-old Kash Weinber of Kash’s Kreations will be selling his woodwork at the Happy Buddha on Front Street Saturday (September 25) from 11 a.m to 2 p.m..
Over the last few years, Kash, an avid animal lover, has donated almost $15,000 to various animal shelters and rescues.
He’s been donating 50% of the proceeds of his wood working business to animal causes with the other 50% being invested into his goal of starting his very own rescue.
The Happy Buddha began carrying Kash’s pieces in their store two years ago.
