Fire prevention crews are starting an investigation into a garage fire in Belleville on Wednesday afternoon.
Four trucks from the Belleville Fire and Emergency Services responded to the call on Gordon Street, around 1:40 p.m. and had the flames out around 3:20 p.m.
Nobody was injured.
While a cause or damage estimate haven’t yet been released, Fire Prevention Officer Kyle Christopher put out a reminder in a press release Wednesday for people to “completely extinguish cigarettes and dispose of them properly.”
We’ll have an update to the story as more details are available.
