OPP say a child accidentally sparked a fire at a home in Madoc on Thursday afternoon.
Not many details were released, but investigators say the child was visiting the home at 105 St. Lawrence Street West and accidentally started the fire around 1:30 p.m.
Centre Hastings firefighters were able to put the blaze out and nobody was injured.
An estimate of damages caused by the flames has not yet been determined.
