Drivers headed east towards Kingston on Highway 401 will have to deal with a single lane closure this evening after a transport truck went into a ditch early Thursday morning.
OPP say one eastbound lane, between Deseronto Road and Centre Street in Napanee, will be closed starting at 7:00 p.m. as crews remove a tractor trailer from the ditch.
The transport went into the ditch around 5:00 a.m. on Thursday and while nobody was injured, the 58 year-old driver from Kingston, was charged with careless driving.
Police say the closure is expected to last for about six-to-eight hours.
