A Belleville man faces assault and assault with a weapon charges after an incident on St. Paul Street in the city just before 6 o’clock Tuesday afternoon.
Police responded to a disturbance and learned that a man had driven up to a residence at a high rate of speed and then got out of the vehicle and assaulted another man.
The suspect left the scene before officers arrived however later police arrested 53-year-old Robert Bradley who appears in court September 2.
