Members of the Prince Edward County OPP, in partnership with Canadian Tire Jumpstart and local community organizations, will be supporting a Bike Rodeo event in Picton.
The event is being held at the Picton Canadian Tire from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on June 13th.
The Bike rodeo will focus on promoting cycling safety, active living, and community engagement.
Officers will be on site demonstrating and supervising interactive challenges designed to help young riders build confidence and improve their cycling skills. Participants will have the opportunity to practice safe braking, turning, and manoeuvring techniques in a controlled environment.
A separate booth will be available offering helmet fitting, and safety education.
The rodeo is open to the public. Donations collected will support the Jumpstart program, helping local children access sport and recreation opportunities.
