Another large housing development in Brighton is moving closer to becoming a reality.
Recently Brighton council approved Official Plan and zoning amendments on separate pieces of property in the area of Ontario and Raglan streets.
If finally approved the development would be comprised of 173 residential units in the form of 84 single-detached homes, 36 semi-detached dwelling units and 53 townhouses.
The various properties are owned by Paul Quick and company AMR and the development would be known as Brighton Meadows.
CONDOMINIUM STYLE HOUSING
A large condominium development is a step closer to construction in the south part of urban Brighton.
Last week Brighton council approved a draft plan of subdivision for a development in the area of Cedar and Raglan streets featuring a total of 84 residential units comprised of nine single-family homes, 16 semi-detached homes, and an 84-unit condominium block.
The development would be known as Butler Creek Condominiums and still must meet certain municipal requirements before being approved by council.
