One man is facing impaired driving charges after an incident early Saturday morning.
Belleville police say officers conducted a traffic stop around 1:10 a.m. after seeing a vehicle travelling the wrong way on Station Street near Church Street.
According to police the driver, 36-year-old Belleville man Keith Ferris, was found to have two-and-a-half times the legal limit of alcohol in his system.
As a result, Ferris was charged with operation while impaired and breaching probation.
He was released on an undertaking with a court date set for September 9.
